Emma Chapman – Centre Manager
Director and Centre Manager at Cuckmere Training, I am a dedicated Trainer, Assessor/IQA, and Consultant specialised in Level 5 Safeguarding within health and social care. Passionate about transforming dry legal and regulatory topics into engaging learning experiences. With a background in children's residential care and a track record of leading services to high Ofsted ratings, I believe in nurturing teams to provide quality childcare. A mother to three neurodiverse children, I advocate for self-care and the power of nature in the demanding health and social care field.
Emma
Experienced Trainer, Assessor, and Regulation 44 Independent Person with 18+ years in adult and children's residential care, combined with a strong administrative skill set. Committed to high care standards and a therapeutic approach centred on LOVE. A Brighton native with three daughters and a brown Labrador, I now enjoy the coastal and South Downs lifestyle, engaging in sea dips, running, and a variety of outdoor challenges and activities.
Charley
Seasoned healthcare trainer and assessor with 13 years' experience, starting in community care and advancing to residential care management. Skilled in supporting individuals with SEN and learning disabilities, specializing in epilepsy care for ages 8 to 104. Expertise in leading teams up to 58 members, I leverage this experience to impart knowledge through assessment and training. Enthusiastic about canine companionship and outdoor walks.
Nicky
Qualified Assessor, Trainer, and Quality Assurer for Levels 2-5, specializing in Residential Childcare and Adult Care. With hands-on experience and a manager's award, I ensure continuous professional growth, including coordination with social services. Experienced in staff management, CQC inspections, and liaison with various stakeholders, I develop support plans and team training. I've authored workbooks for diplomas, supported learners in further education, and collaborated with youth justice within Residential Childcare.
